Niamh Clarke is a research coordinator and biobank manager working between St. James’s Hospital and Trinity College Dublin.
She is responsible for ensuring various biobanks onsite are run both ethically and efficiently in line with National and International standards.
She works with multidisciplinary teams and patients alike across various disease areas.
She sits as a biobanking expert on the NSAI TC 62 Biotechnology Standards Consultative Committee ISO20387. She is passionate about increasing the patient input on Ethical, Legal, and the
Social Implications (ELSI) of biobanking.
