Ms Aoife Ni Mhuiri

CEO/Founder, Salaso. BSc (Physio), MSc (SportsMedicine).

Aoife is a chartered physiotherapist with over two decades of clinical physiotherapy and exercise physiology experience in lifestyle medicine, physical rehabilitation, and chronic condition management. She also has an academic teaching position lecturing on the Sports Inclusion and Adapted Physical Programme within the Health and Exercise Science Department at the Munster Technological University (MTU) in Kerry.
Her professional interests centre around leveraging technology to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all and in engaging people with lifestyle medicine and evidence-based therapy programmes for population health management.

In 2011, Aoife commenced an entrepreneurial journey when she established Salaso Health Solutions (salaso.com), an award-winning Health Technology company headquartered in Kerry, with offices in the UK and US. Salaso has developed a Smart Therapy Engagement Platform and Services (STEPS) to advance digital transformation in the healthcare industry, by enabling Health Care Providers to become Digital Therapy Service Providers. Salaso’s platform uses Augmented Intelligence and Machine Learning to provide superior decision support for clinicians. The platform empowers all Healthcare Providers to deliver Lifestyle Medicine and Digital Therapy as a Service (DTaaS), supporting existing and new models of delivery for virtual care, care at home and effective population health management. For a range of common health conditions, (as well as pre-op and post-op therapies), the Salaso platform enables patients to engage on their own terms, at a time and place that suits them, and within a clinician-controlled environment.
