Dr. Ravid Straussman

Principal Investigator at Weizmann Institute

Dr. Ravid Straussman graduated the MD/PhD program of Hadassah Medical School, Israel. After completing a post-doc at the Broad institute, he joined the Weizmann Institute as a principal investigator.

The Straussman lab studies the tumor microenvironment and the tumor microbiome with special focus on how non-cancer components in the tumor microenvironment affect the response of cancer cells to cytotoxic, targeted and immune-mediated anti-cancer therapies.
