
Dr Ashleigh Russell

Dr Ashleigh Russell is a Medical Oncologist in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and holds Visiting Scholar status with the Centre for Public Health at Queen’s University. She has a PhD in Cancer Epidemiology, and her research interests are in the area of early-onset cancers, a growing global concern with multiple research gaps. Her work spans quantitative cancer data intelligence, molecular epidemiology and systematic reviews, as well as qualitative research. Ashleigh is currently a co-investigator in the All-Ireland Cancer Network Oesophageal Programme, and part of a UK consortium on early-onset colorectal cancer. She is passionate about advocating for patients and addressing real world needs with both her clinical work and research.
